In the Gospels, it tells that Jesus designed the Jewish teachers extremely indignant together with his teachings. It suggests that section of their anger was because he informed them they had been "hypocrites" meaning that they externally created by themselves appear to be residing a holy lifetime, but internally their hearts have been far from God
